Chromebook?

I am in the market for a new laptop and I am considering a Chromebook. There are numerous models to choose from -- Find Yours – Google Chromebooks. Thanks in advance for advice on models to consider or to avoid.

I looked at those, but ended up with a Microsoft surface. Very happy with mine.

I ended buying an HP Chromebook about two weeks ago. I picked it up at Walmart, more or less as an impulse purchase. My Windows laptop was painfully slow that morning, so when I saw the HP Chromebook on display later that day, I said "What the heck" and bit the bullet.

The Chromebook is much faster than my decrepit Windows laptop and it hasn't taken me long to adapt to Chrome. My main computer usage is browsing the Web, followed by working with spreadsheets. I haven't spent that much time with Chrome's spreadsheet applications, but it appears they will meet my needs.
