citrix/centrix speaders?

not sure what the manufacturer name is, but has anyone purchased ag equipement from this maker?

i'm looking at a 300lb spreader but i wanted to learn more about the maker before buying (and i can't track down the name via the web)

thx kevin - that's the name i'm looking for.. i'm looking at the 300lb model. the manufacturer suggests that you can use it to spread sand/salt.. have you used this spreader for anything other than fertilizer?

I only spread fertilizer with it. But I did order the optional agitator so I don't see why sand and salt wouldn't work.

they have a sitrex 300 and a 500 and I have the 500. that is the model number and will hold anywheres from 500 to 1000#s of fertilzer depending on what kind of fertilizer since some is heavier then others. The 500 model just has a bigger cone at the top and is only around $500 with the agitator. most farm places carry them around here. I have had mine for 3 years and works well for money. Wash it out real good the salts from fertilzer will rust it quickly. Sand may work if there is no rocks in it but dont fill it too high. i have spread calcium Chloride with it a on dirt road for dust. They are a good cheap spreader for someone who will only use it once or twice a year on small acreage. I have photo attached of mine holding 800lbs on tc33d.
