CK 25 Tie Rod

Nice pics. I've bent mine a couple of times. I remove it and bring to my friends shop and use a press to bend it back. I also buy tie rod cups at my local auto parts place............a couple of bucks each

The cups are important since we can't grease our tie rod ends. Both of mine have torn now even though on ly one has seen pickle fork abuse.

They are in that "HELP" section of your local auto parts store. About $3.00 each......................unless of course you have a Kioti dealer near you that has them in stock..........which I don't

rmahlert,

Does heating it and bending it back weaken it? Just curious, I have almost zero metal working knowledge.

Thanx

Not that I've been told. Heating it makes it safer and a heck of alot easier to bend back into shape. Doing it 'cold' could cause it to snap.
