Hello,

I am new to logging in but have been reading the opinions of many of you for over a year and recognize the names when I see them.

I am pretty much convinced to switch from JD to Kioti. Why run when I can Howl.

My financing is all set through the credit union and I am deciding on the CK 30 HST, Kioti heated cab, 2375 Back Hoe, 60" Loader, Chains, Loaded Ag Tires, Extra Valves in back and the grill guard.

a. For this package, what can I expect to pay...not counting the rebate and I am a tax exempt farm?

b. Any suggestions about the package I picked?

Thanks.

Can't help you with the price but I'm sure one of the dealers on here could pm you. I have the CK 25 with the 2375 back hoe, you might want to consider the woods back hoe. Mine has done everything I've needed it to do, it just seems that the new woods back hoe is a nicer setup with the 4 point mounting system. I also believe woods might have higher specs.(not 100% sure)
You also might want to fill in your location under your profile so dealers know where you are located as price will vary by location. Good luck with you purchase.

Welcome to TBN CBB, Pricing will be regeional .. I have the Ck30hst with the Woods 1012 quick attach loader with the 60" heavy duty bucket and woods toothbar..This is a very capable loader for a 30 hp tractor. For logging id say go with this as well and put a thumb grapple on the bucket. The kioti k130 loader is about average in performance for a 30hp tractor but gives you an excellent viewing platform..Its more of a light to medium duty loader. The woods 80x backhoe with the thumb would make this a very capable machine for you.. If your putting chains on the tires id say stick with the industrial tires for puncture protection.. Im not aware of a kioti cab for the ck30 , i believe they start with the 45hp and up. I think simms makes a cab that will work, im sure others will chime in and help you as well... You may want to fill out your profile and list all other uses you have in mind for your tractor... Good luck

I mentioned this to a dealer, because of discussion in the forum here and he said the Woods don't mount on the frame. My concern would be cracking the frame of the tractor if it is three point hitch style?

Thanks for the input. Industrial...okay-will do. Cab--Sims is the name. I am worried about heat in the summer with no AC. I want the cab for lots of winter work but will I regret the loss of open air in the summer? Thoughts?

You might want to check with some of the dealers hear who deal with the woods also.... I think Rick Wallace might. I also believe that the woods subframe stays with the tractor. You might find some info about how they mount to the kioti through a search on here. Did you see the ck20 on ebay which someone posted the link. Not a bad deal but it is also not a ck30 though. Good luck.

The woods BH mounts to the frame. The 3ph BHs seem to be a dying breed. Sounds like a great setup you chose. I discovered I needed the brush guard and bought it and now am discovering I need the remotes. I am too cheap for a BH right now though.

Welcome to TBN.
I believe the Sims Cab can be opened up a good bit in the summer, so it won't necessarily be terribly hot.

The Woods loaders will fit on the CK30 as well the backhoes which hook up to a subframe that stays with the tractor. You lift the loader up and onto the bottom mounts, and then onto the upper mounts and lock it in. The subframe stays on the tractor and rides higher than the Kioti subframe, allowing for better clearance under the tractor.

I don't know if you dealer is all that familiar with Woods backhoes. Kioti will not warrant 3pt hitch-type backhoe damage, but that is not the case here.

One Woods mount allows the mounting of different model loaders as well.

Since I don't know the conditions under which you will operate the tractor, I wouldn't recommend outright that you take the R4 IND tires. Maybe you're going to be in enough muck all the time that you need the more aggressive AG tires. Of course, the R4s with the chains may be sufficient, and I really like the tires.
They are also heavier ply and wider, so you reduce the pressure/cubic inch.

I'm not sure, but someone posted a sale that Sims was having. I'm sure the cab will be at least a couple of thousand dollars or more, the tractor with loader and backhoe will probably be near $20,000.

You will have a heck of a setup for that price, and I think you'll be happy with it.

Woods will mount to the tractor without any problems.
Next issue....
If you are thinking and are already sold on the tire chains I would make sure that they will clear the woods mounts before hand I would say at this time that they will not clear the large bolt that has to go through the frame when the backhoe is on, once the backhoe is removed I think you will be okay.
If you are okay with running the chains without the hoe than you are in good shape.
They will clear with the ag tires.

I had my chains on for a while with the backhoe on and they cleared ok.
