Hello, I am wanting to buy a CK 30 hst, but have some concern, I also have looked a Kubota L2800 hst, both are nice and priced with in $400. but I never owned a tractor, I know this is a Kioti forum. But anyone got any reccomendations, before I buy.

Its likely if you post here you will hear from all of us who are so far happy with the Kioti.
Mines an 05 CK30HST w/ fel and 72 in RFM, I added bucket chain hooks and lights under the rops for night time romantic drives LOL at least thats what I tell my wife.
Who by the way is super cool for letting me get this beast!!

The L2800 is a very basic tractor without most of the Ck30's extras.
They're not really apples to apples in comparison. I saw the L2800 in the past when I was shopping and found it to be adequate for many uses, but the CK30 has it topped for the money in my opinion.

Try them both out and buy the one you like the best. Dealer quality should be a major consideration. That is not to mean that the dealer must have a huge dealership either. There are a lot of great dealers who don't have a whole lot of shop, but what they do to support you can be grand.

I have to say I'm still very sold on my Kioti, and would not hesitate to buy another. I just think Kubota's pricing in this instance is off for what the L2800 represents.

Of course I too would recommend the Kioti. To be fair you should be comparing the grand L3130 to the CK30 since that will get the features aligned and be more apples to apples. I think if you do that, as I did, and find a decent price for each tractor that you will see more like a 4000$ dollar difference.

That should make your decision easier.

Very Pleased with CK30HST. I would recommend. Flawless, 95 hours so far. I was not impressed with the price of the Kubota vs features compared to the CK30. I think the 3130 has more loader capacity though, no complaints with Kioti. Enjoy your persuit. Let us know how it goes.

Welcome huntinbucks, you mention in your post you had some concern, good anyone in their rightful mind could and should be concern when making a fairly large investment, your not alone, I felt that way not to long ago,but I'm over that now, I made my purchase... Your best bet is to get a hands on experience with both tractor, you will know which one you want, it doesn't really mater which one you chose, it's the one your more comfortable with... What really matters is the dealer, you want one that will be there for you in the future regardless of the brand you choose...cag

I have a CK 30 Gear and am very pleased. I have not one time wished I had went with the Kubota. The Kioti tractor is a fine machine. I work mine 20 to 30 hours a week with NO complaints.
