Kioti has officially discontinued the NX Line - still worth buying?

Personally I would go with an NS.
The NX line had to many issues IMO.
Are the "issues" in the room with us now?

The NX series suffered from too cold of thermostats when first sold but so did all Teir IV machines which often clogged up the DPF and put them into a limp-home mode. The field solution was to put in warmer t-stat. I run a 180°F T-stat in my NX and the stock was a 160°F which in spring, fall and definitely winter is way, way, way too cold. Keep in mind that as a auto tech I replace standard car t-stats with warmer t-stats as well for our local climate.

The NX HST issue is a solenoid in the transmission. The later machines have a different design. My tractor being a very early model "jerks" as the solenoid goes batty until the trans-hydro fluid warms up and then works fine.

Other than that I've had one alternator go bad, but luckily, a larger alternator from a Mazda 1987 B2000 for $65 pops right in and works with the existing wiring harness.

I did shell the front axle center housing on my NX series, and the equivalent Bobcat to the NX interestingly uses a different front axle housing than Kioti's NX series. Personally, I think the front axle housing is too weak for the loader's rated breakout force. I have not looked at the difference between the NX and NS tractors, but the OP may want to chase on over to his/her Bobcat dealer and make comparisons, take photos, and circle back here with any questions.
