CK20/CK30 tie rod guard? Anybody?

I plan on taking my old tie rod and try to bend an offset ( _/****\_ ) in it to raise the center a couple of inches or just enough to get it high enough to hide somewhat behind the front axel. Not sure how successful I'll be, but it sure seem that they bend easily enough. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
