CK20 HST making knocking noise and blowing blue smoke

My fuel filter has the fitting in the bottom...NAPA brand. I have seen Racor filter units with them too.If no drain, you can remove the filter, and invert it, drain the water,then you must refill to the top or prime to restart..Fuel collects water, it does not burn well. A Racor filter element will not let water past it>. Jy

Dealer has finally looked at the little machine and has said that it was a valve and not an injector... bummer, I guess it could have been worse. Is doing a valve at this amount of hours normal 600 hours max...;

Hmmm..be interesting what cause this.

Normally, we do not see valve or injector or engine rebuild issues until around 5000-7000 hrs use. This valve issue is premature by a long ways. Ken Sweet

Hopefully it didn't drop the valve and take out the piston.

Valve issues at 700 hours are way pre-mature.

Mine was about 100hrs, fixed under warranty. Ran better after the fix than it ever had, so probably a defect from the start.
