CK20 HST tranny issues

I have to work again today, so I won't be able to try any of this till tonight at the earliest. I'm going to try to tow it around to the garage this am before I leave.
I'm at 450 hours, but the warranty on drivetrain (parts only?)is 3 years? Is there somewhere I can verify this info? I don't see anything about warranty at all in my documentation. Of course, it sounds like the labor alone is enough $$$ to kill me.

Icisled...do you recall if yours made the noise only when you pushed the HST pedal? Mine does it just sitting there, as long as the clutch is out...pushing the HST pedal has does not increase or decrease the noise. FEL, 3Ph and steering all work fine

Stupid question perhaps but, have you tried a different range? It almost sounds like it isn't fully engaging.

If you go to Kiotis web site put you pointer over the parts and service it will bring up warranty then click on it. I will tell you all about the warranty that you still have on your tractor /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

At first mine only made the noise while pushing the hydro, and I could get it to move a little. I had to get it to move to get it back to the trailer. I got it to move about 10 foot and then that was it. I had to move it with the loader and get it on the trailer with the loader as well. Once it would not move any more it made the noise as soon as I started the tractor. At first I thought that I had hit the lever and popped it out of range, further investigation told me that everything was in order and that I had something wrong inside.
I hope that my problem is not what you have, but it sure sounds to be the exact same.
I had about 200 hours on mine when it did it. I hope that as we see CK 20's get more hours on them we do not see more incidences of this happening. I know that there are members here with high hours on their CK 20s, but we have 4 of them, and if it happens with another one of ours, I will not consider it a coincidence. My confidence was shaken when this happened to mine, now it sounds like it happened to you. I hope that these 2 are just a couple of flukes.

If you crawl under your tractor there is a hole in one of the cases that you can shine a flashlight up in and see the splines and the coupler. You can look up in there while it is running and see what is going on. Just be sure to block the wheels and set the park brake...

BTW, I did not buy from this dealer, but he is now my most local dealer...I read that one guy had problems with a non-selling dealer and warranty work (not this particular dealer), and hoping I do not...so we'll see.
