Nick,

Industrial tires (tyres) are very common here in the US. They are used a lot on industrial/construction equipment for their toughness and resistance to punctures. Their use has gravitated over to compact utility tractors.

By the way, welcome to TBN!

and i would imagine you'd have a tough time getting the BH and possibly even the FEL on there with the MMM installed.

yikes! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

You'll be very happy with the industrial tires as a good all around performer.

Nick,

The reason your industrial tires were so expensive was that you probably paid for the industrial rims to. Industrial tires usually do not fit on ag rims. Did your dealer originally get your tractor equipped with ag tires? If he did, then he probably ordered the industrial tire/rim after the fact and could not exchange them. It would be interesting to get to the bottom of this one. Something does not seem right. Enjoy your new tractor!

The guy who demoed it brought it with a FEL , MMM and a rotary cultivator on the back. He used the MMM to cut Nettles/weeds (do you have nettles in the US ?) which were so high you couldnt see the body of the tractor and still made a pretty good job with all that tackle on.Not the ideal way to cut stuff that high I know but pretty impressive.
