ck20 lost the mid mount PTO

Seems like Island just wants to be the smartest kid in class. If someome wants to use a particular piece of equipment let them have at it and stop with the negative. I have a CK20 and a 3pt finish mower wish I had a MMM I could certainly cut my lawn more effciently with the MMM because of the limitations of my tractor I have a hill behind my house that I can only go up and down the hill because the weight of the 3pt mower will pull the backend of the tractor around even with loaded R4's and the loader on I wouldn't have to worry about that with a MMM. I consider myself a very experienced tractor operator being a Wisconsin dairy farmer in a previous life.

Then the comments were not for you were they? I stated pretty clearly I was just pointing out issues that a new owner should consider.

My problem is with someone having no experience with a piece of equipment trying to tell someone else what a crappy setup it would be. It would be no different than me trying to tell you what grapple setup you should have and never been close to grapple. Just saying if you don't have first hand knowledge your opinion is worth nothing.

Actually, I currently have used a John Deere 650 with a 3pt finish mower (Kingcutter). I do find that its not as agile as some have mentioned.

Another thing that people have not mentioned is grass (and leaf) collection.

Not sure where I would begin to use that with a 3PT finish mower...

The point about just using a lawn mower is a good one though. I also have a Wheel Horse 312-8, a cast iron beauty. I was figuring if I picked up a used MMM I could sell that for about $2k and come out a little ahead.

Well, I have used a MMM and I did own a CK20. You are correct that I did not have a MMM on the CK but I think the points I made are valid and if they are not then please specifically refute them rather than calling names.
