Tractor
Current Kioti CK27HST and Cub Cadet 1810. Previous NH1510 Hydro, AC D14, Oliver 1355?, and JD 314 Lawn Tractor
What other Tractor Brands and Models do you see the CK20 competing against?

From other posts it looks like the CK20 with 4WD and HST will have MSRP list for around 10,600 USD.

Any thoughts what the discounted cash price will end up for those willing to order and wait?

I would think that it will be marketed against the Kubota B7500, NH Boomer TC21, and the John Deere 4010. That is my guess.

I would like to know what is the advantage of the Kioti over the big three? This not a question to start a fight, I would like to honestly know what is making this brand gain market share. Have I just missed something? I know that it weighs more, but is this the only thing or is there more.

I'm shoppin tractors too (you might have noticed) and I first heard about the CK20 here on TBN. Since then I've been researching any and all info on Kioti/Daedong. There a company that's over 50 years old and have been in the states about 18 years.

From all my reading, I gather they are a quality built tractor (based upon owners reviews) and are available at a reasonable price. Maybe we can get some of the actual Kioti owners to chime in here.

My thoughts are that NH, Kubota, and JD do a good job meeting the users needs with a full range of transmissions and features. The reason I started to watch Kioti is what I think(new to looking and evaluating specs) are lower prices on gear drive tractors. This said they have not offered a HST transmission verson in the past. First offering is the CK20H this spring. My needs and wants lead me to a HST drive only. My concern is that the price advantage might not continue with comparable HST tractors and increased dealership network. Hopefully the more experienced will offer additional insite.

I agree that the Big "3" do a good job. I also agree that Kioti must be doing a good job. Because I haven't found any disatisifed owners postings, I'm sure someone is uphappy with their Kioti.
I don't know how large of finish mowers that the CK20 can use successfully. I've been told that the heavier the tractor the more work that you can expect it to be able to do. I'm not sure that is correct but I bet someone will give us the answer.
The price I recieved form a dealer on Friday was for #10,500.00 for the CK20H tractor with out the option of rear hydraulic hookup.

I haven't seen any printed specs for mowers, attachments or the FEL yet. I'm sure they will be out soon...

<font color=black>The "manufacturers suggested retail price" was listed as $1209_ so it appears the dealers will be coming down off that price. I checked with one dealer....CK20 Hydro with turf tires $10,600.<font color=black>

I have received a price for a CK20H with valve MMM for a total of $12K.
Is this a good price? Or should I just stick with one of the Big 3?
I like the features that the CK20H has more that any of the others but I also know that the dealer network is not as good.

So that works out to $1500 for mmm. I would say that is a very reasonable price for a mmm. However...I would certainly wait until the CK20 is available to test out, sit in the seat, spend some time and get familiar with the unit. This goes for all makes and models that you are considering.

If your anywhere near Louisville, KY next month...Feb 12-15... The National Farm Show...that would be a great place to check all the seats out.
