CK20 vs TC24 (What do you think?)

   / CK20 vs TC24 (What do you think?) #11
If the need for the PTO is minimal, then I would opt for the CK20. There is no need spend the extra money for the added HP.

BTW Corriher doesn't always have the best prices, but usually they are competitive. My local dealer has blown them away a couple times on purchases I've made.

I don't mean to cause you any suffering, it's just that I think the size of the CK30 shouldn't generally be a problem for most uses, and there is a lot more offered that makes it an easier, better choice of tractor. The CK20 will certainly do a heck of a lot of work, and even when I buy a larger model (prob. DK45), I will keep the CK20. All in all, you probably would do quite well with the CK20. But if you have any thoughts now of using larger implements in the future, the CK30 is a better choice. John
EDIT: If it's at all possible, get the dealer to bring one of each to your home so you can at least drive them around to see how they fit with what you need to do. That's the only way you're going to know for sure. John
