just so you all know, the rops is 2"X2" for the ck20hst, I could not believe that my first post had 81 views with no comments, oh well.
Well the install went pretty good, I was going to put the switch on the dashboard, but could not figure how to get it off, I removed all the screws but it still would not come off, so I decided to put the switch next to the 3pt control, cut the hole and fit the switch. Ran my wires up the rops to the lights and grounded them to the bolt that the rops swivels on, than I ran wire to the fuse panel, took the panel off and could not figure out how to remove the contact from the back of the panel, so ran a wire with in-line fuse to the battery, hooked everything back up, flipped the switch and we have lights.
What a difference at night, I can see where I am going.

I find myself working later and later into the evening so I have been thinking about something like this more and more. Do both lights come on at the same time, or is that a 2 position switch so you can select which light comes on?

Its a 2 position switch I got from boaters world, so it nice and weather tight. I can select which light to turn on.
I agree I am also working out in the yard later since we turned the clocks back.

Thanks for the info on the switch, I would not have thought about going to a boating supply place for a switch. Makes perfect sense though...

Nice. I have been thinking and about adding lights for about a couple of years now, and it is usually when we turn the clocks back that I say, ok time to do it.
Which type of beam pattern did you go with. I was thinking of two forwards and 2 rearwards.

Not sure of the beam pattern, just bought an off road light kit from autozone, and already thinking about adding two more, you can never have enough light.

Once I find a decent looking set of lights to mount to my cab, I would like to do this as well. The install looks good!

Also, I would be weary about "you can never have enough light" because there is a limit to how much amperage you can draw from the alternator before over running the thing.

That looks great...

Would there be enough room for your head if they were mounted under the rops?

I have a clearance issue where I keep mine... Maybe I could mount it on the side?

Thanks for the ideas..

Bearhawk,
I belive there would not be enough clearance if they were mounted under the rops.
As it is now, I can feel the heat on the back of my head, coming off the forward facing light.
