You're right. The single remote will run the bh perfectly and is much easier than the hose kit requiring the operator to turn a valve under the tractor.

Two remotes would be if you were using a box blade. You could have top and tilt cylinders each controled separately. Or a snowblower with dual shute controls. For Winter, I use one, with hoses run to the front, to control my front blade and then use the other to angle a rear blade. It depends on what you think you may do with the tractor and the second can always be added later if you need it.

Thanks for the run-down. Sounds like something I may do down the road. We don't get much snow in western WA. If I ever move back to the east side of the state, we'll be looking at snow removal hardware for sure. You can move snow, you can't move rain. :)

With two remotes, you could run a front grapple and the backhoe without jacking around with hose swapping.

You shouldn't buy a backhoe, maybe just buy one for me. A woods would be nice.
