My CK3510 has two wires and connectors that come out at the base of the ROPS, near the fuel tank. These are factory, and power is supplied when the ignition is on, I wired a switch for work lights that I mounted on the ROPS!
I had seen this noted in other posts, and found mine on the left side of the CK2610 ROPS as well. Seems like a great solution as long as your lights do not exceed the ampacity of the wire/fuse. Seems like most of the lights can operate at a wide range of voltages, so voltage drop should not be an issue. I ran dedicated #12's for mine with an auxiliary relay, but given my low load could have probably gone your route.
I need to breakdown and buy the $180 service manual in order to get a good schematic for mine. I may ask for it for Christmas.
