Can't seem to find my owner's manual? Have to look in the Barn tomorrow? I changed My Hydro fluid and filters at 50 hours. Is the next fluid/filter change at 400 hours? At 260 hours now. Fluid looks nice and clean. Thanks.

I have new filters. I did change the fluid again at 170 hours to JD Hygard because I wasn't happy with the cold weather performance of what I had in there. I did not change the filters though. Do you lose a lot of fluid just changing the filters?

Here's a scan of the maintenance schedule chart from the CK2610 owners manual:

I could see 200 hrs changing the filter again if you kept the factor fill hydro fluid? Kinda seems like a waste if you also changed your fluid along with filters at the 50 hours? Oh well, i'll change out when the weather clears.

I can see that Kioti maintenance docs have not gotten any less confusing. My CK30 has different reqs in the OM, the service manual, and in stickers on the tractor.

I think a good rule for any HST tractor is to change engine and hyd fluids/filters within 50hrs of new. Then, 400hr is a good rule for change interval for the hyd fluid and filters. That means at 450hr if you changed at 50. I also like 100hr service interval for engine oil & filter.

I agree entirely.

Most HST Kubotas I'm familiar with also have a 400hr change interval. Across all makes/models with HST you'll see very similar. These new tractors are not like granddads Ford 8N, that could go a lifetime without change. The convenience of these hydrostatic pumps/motors, and high output diesel engines, comes at the cost of more frequent oil changes. A small price to pay for how much faster, and convenient to operate, these new tractors are.

After speaking with my Dealer, I'm going to do just that.

I used Kubota SUDT2 in mine, very good choice for cold climate.
