Operated the tractor a lot this past weekend moving gravel from creek bed to RV and vehicle parking area. 112'F Saturday and 108'F Sunday. No glow plug light except when key on instrument panel self test. Might be a few months before the glow plugs kick in.

It's finally cooled off here, and the glow plug light is turning on again.

It was 49 degrees outside this morning in south Georgia. I turned the key to the on position. The dash diagnostic lights came on and then off. However, the glow plug light stayed on for a few seconds longer. This leads me to believe the preheat system is temperature triggered.

I wanted to thank everyone for their input. I have been super busy with my first granddaughter this summer. I have not had much time to troubleshoot these days. The input you all have provided makes me feel confident that there is no issue other than south Georgia is too darn hot to trigger the preheat function. I’m greatful for all the knowledge and experience all of you offered.
