The factory canopy was a $400 add-on which was well worth it for me, but I live in the south so YMMV.
The Kioti backhoe is pretty awesome too (and adds $$$$ to the price).

Excellent. I'll be looking to grab the canopy for sure. (it will probably cost 700 CDN lol).

The backhoe is a no go for me ... pushes the cost a bit too much. That and i have closeby rentals for min-ex should the need arise.

thank-you,
H

For what it's worth, your buying new equipment and the latest selling point on new implements is quick hitch compatible. You can wait on the QH adapter. Users who complain about QH say post hole augers won't work with them - it's true. Just how many holes do you plan to drill in your lifetime? Rent a tool from rental co., make friends with local farmers, tractor owners they can drill holes possibly cheaper than a rental machine.

Pat's owners usually have collections of older equipment and lack motivation to update equipment to compatible standards.

Once you get a QH try to get compatible implements. Newer so called "QH compatible" only need minor mods if any, once modded implement changes are fast, easy and only requires dismounting tractor to connect hoses, pto shafts and raising parking stands.

Lack welding skills however I created this post to give new owners implement modding ideas.

I believe Kioti is offering the SE package on the 2610 (CK2610se) - the se package will give you the mat, rear remotes, tool box, mirrors, HST linked pedal, dual air filters, dual arm rests, cruise control, telescopic lower link, telescopic stabilizers, independent pto with automatic or manual switch, tilt wheel, horn - if you are going to get the rear remotes on the standard - for the money difference, you should take a look at the se.....

THanks for heads up. I'll inquire about this. You never know what they do different in Canada. I'll inquire once i finalize my list as it seems like i'd want most of those items to be in place.
thanks!!

Seems like good call. I like what you did with your implements... seems to me i have a lot of learning that i can't fit into a few months of interenet. THat being said, I like the use of threaded pipe to create stands for impelments for easy attachment. I've already thought of where i'll store most of implements... now i have more things to do in that preparation..it will be more real to me when i actually have a few to deal with and keep safe/maintained and ready to go.
cheers,
H

I'd like to be able to use grapple to pull out scrub from ditches along my driveway. Thinking to get the rake edge for the bucket to help with getting rid of that crap as well. There are SOO many grapple choices. The other thing i'd like to do is lift a log up for cutting with chain saw.

As for lights, what fixtures did you get? Thanks for tip on the Superbright website. I will definitely want strong lighting.

Thanks again,
H
I used the 5 inch matrix off road 1500 lumen for the fronts , one tucked up under the canopy on each side and for the rear I used a single hyper series 500 lumen compact light bar and the weather proof rocker switches and harness they offer for these fixtures.

Or just spend 10 minutes taking off the QH. Hook up your 3pt auger and drill away. :)
