(I don't see alternator/Amp's size posted on the Kubota website for the B's or the BX's.)

John, I think everything up to & including 24hp Kubotas all have 20amp alternators?

My understanding for the BX's is 15 Amp standard. 40 Amp optional upgrade ~$165.

I wasn't considering the BX series sub-CUTs, but that wouldn't surprise me at all if they are only 15 amp.
I think the JD2200s are 20 amp.
No clue what the TZ class machines are from NH. Can't find it on the website! And I never bothered to look up GC class sub-CUTs from Massey.
I tend not to look at the Sub-CUTs to hard, while they are capable little tractors, I generally limit my research to the CUT classes from 20hp up to about 45 hp because that is what interests me and that is what I have owned. I suppose I should be more clear with my statements, but my above statement was based on my understanding of the little CUTs not the sub-CUTs.

Wow, thanks for all the replies. like a few of you said, it does seem to be a nice value added piece of equipment but like most, only useful if used. I don't do much night work but I was hoping to hook up a few lights in the future. By the time I get home from work in the winter, it is almost dark and I could use more visability while clearing snow. Again, thanks for all the replies.
