Oil & Fuel CK30 fuel gauge repaired

If I (or anyone else here) can make a quick bend of the arm
and get a more useful guage, then we can benefit from your
trial-and-error efforts. Thanks for contributing.

My guage had good resistance readings, but read Full until
the last gallon or so. Funny thing is I get 2 hours per gallon!

Just an update to the fuel gauge. I've had time to run the CK30 and use fuel. The gauge has steadily gone down. No strange up and down readings. It was reading 1/4 tank with around 8 hours since filled. I topped off the tank, holds 7.9 by the manual, and it took five gallons. I guess 1/4 tank should be 6 gallons but hope empty will give me 1 gallon reserve. I have pictures to develop showing the bends in the float arm to make it work correctly. If anyone would like them, I can post. Or maybe it's easier to just count hours than pull the gauge out but it's supposed to work and I was determined to fix it. Dfkrug was right. It's closer to two hours per gallon depending what rpm your using.

Yah, after I posted and felt like an idiot...duh..
but I was new here...
Was pretty simple fix anyway.
So note to self...check dates
