You should have a new fuse by now. I recommend you check the alternator after you get it running, The reverse current surge (when you blew the fuse) may have damaged the alternator rectifier and that would damage the new battery. You can remove and take the alternator to an auto store (most test for free) or use one of several low-cost testers with the alternator installed.
