I agree with you Highbeam. Remotes are well worth it, give you added capability, and are a lot less of a pain than having to use that diverter.

I have the ck30 Hst and love it. I also have the 2375 hoe. not so good. I have maybe 70 hours on the hoe and it has broke twice know. the left stablizer just broke. unless kioti has beefed up there backhoe since I got mine last june, I would look at a different brand. a rhino or woods maybe.
kioti has stood behind the problems My dealer said they are going to fix the last break but it should not have happened in the first place. I dug my basement with it and it is only dirt no rocks. some out there have rocks to dig in and theirs is doing fine. my dealer install the rear remote for mine. mark

I also have a ck30hst with the 2375 hoe. The valve body was replaced in mine within a week. It would leak to the ground in less that 30 minutes. The machine has 70 hrs on it but only about 6-8 on the hoe. It has all the power one could ever ask for. I have removed several large locust stumps and dug a couple of ditches. I am careful and try to be smooth with it. After reading the posts on the owner/operator side of this board I am a little concerned. It would seem that it is maybe not manufactured as well as the woods or rhino. When buying there was consideration given to the rhino but I was told that it could potentially effect the tractor warrenty.

Hi,
Up until a short time ago Rhino made the backhoes for Kioti. When a lot of the problems started to arise Kioti asked Rhino to add more material to re-enforce parts of the backhoe. The price went too high and Kioti now is having a stronger hoe built in So. Korea at a more favorable price.
I sell a good number of tractors and about 60 to 70% go with a Kioti backhoe. I have not had any problems with the newer backhoe at all.
The nice thing about the Kioti Hoe(besides being reliable, I have 75 sold in past 30 months) is that it comes under the special low rate financing Kioti is offering.
As with any piece of equipment you will find a % of problems, but I think the new backhoes from Kioti are very well made and have had very few problems for the price. They are the only brand I stock( I also can sell bradco and rhino).
Just my experience with the product.

Were you having problems with the Rhino built "Kioti" hoes (same as Rhino)? We have never had a single problem with them.... we sell them over the Kioti.....

Hi Jon,
Only a few problems with the stabilizer arms and the top of the boom. All-in-all I have not had any big issue with any KIOTI backhoe, whether it was made by Rhino or in So. Korea, that's my point! The few complaints on this forum probably represent hundreds and hundreds of KIOTI backhoes in use, yet in all reality there are only a few complaints.

Thanks,
KiotiDave

I know I've put mine through the wringer with no problems, and if something cracks, it will get welded. So far I think it has been a great hoe. KB2365 model.
That said, I do favor the setup on the Woods with it's higher mounting, and I like the hookup brackets better. I think they cost more, so the Kioti is still a good bargain hoe that, in most cases, is holding up well.

What would be considered newer? I purchased in late April last year but the hoe was one that was on the lot since fall of '04. From what I see, where the problems are my hoe is built with 1/4" steel. Probably worrying for no reason. I do that alot sometimes. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

The backhoe model #'s changed when the Mfg. changed.
All the backhoes starting with 23 are Kioti made hoes.
Example 2365, 2375, 2385 Etc.

When Rhino was the Mfg. the model #'s were differant. Can't recall if they all began with 20 or not.
But I do know the Rhino made 8 1/2' backhoe was a #2085.
