I'll need to order a remote setup one day and I see no benefit to ordering one from my dealer, you can bet I'll order one from one of the online Kioti dealers.

I got the switch from Jon--my local dealer "got back to me" 5-6 days after initial inquiry tell me they had the part too.
When someone says they will get back to you in some days instead of just handling the issue- one doesn't get the impression anything will be done.
The new switch comes with the mechanical part and the electric part assembled- if you want to keep your original keys you can unscew only the electric part and transfer it to your existing tumbler body.
The original keys have the black plastic w/ logo, replacement ones are just regular metal keys for those who care...
Now about time for the 50 hour HST oil change...FUN!!

I didn't look at the key cut so I can't say at the moment...

All keys are the same..... the all metal keys are the old style... most of the switchs don't come with keys anymore..... that was just a bouns.... extra keys /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I just a*s-umed they'd be different...
maybe because they bothered cutting teeth on them /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
and it looked sooo much like a car ignition switch...
