ck30hst test drive

well finally got to try out the new ck30hst yesterday what an awsome machine, makes me want to trade in my 2002 lk3054.dealer gave me the master key and turned me loose wanted to test all of them from the 20 to the 65 but couldnt get my but off of the 30hst and buy the time i was done i was near frost bitten. after reading this site for some time i tried to do some test that i could remember questions were asked. (1) h-m-l range all were comparable to jd955,kub2910 that i have ran. as far as (h) range at pto rpm this tractor pulled better on the hill he had there than my 3054 would have. i was impressed (not comparing tractors here just making observation of performance) the hst pedal worked smooth in both directions.(2) power steering was great turn radius seemed sharper than my 3054. (3) operator area lay out was nice and roomy only complaint would be on the gear model the 4*4 shift knob was kind of in the way every time i would lift my foot to clutch my heel would catch the knob other than that & shuttle both machines are the same(great) but i would have to go with hst if i do decide to trade my 3054 in. only thing now is long term durability /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif and i have faith that the hst will be dependable or i wouldnt be thinking of getting one /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif my dealer quoted me 16900 ck30hst loader,r4s but he knows he can do better & so do i. hope this helps those of you who are looking at this tractor. sorry no pictures dont have a digital camera. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Hello Dirt, I just bought a ck30hst with a woods 1012 quick detach loader , brush guard,block heater for 16,200. The deal was 15,900 with the k130 loader. I think you should be able to get close to that. Im in Ny.... It is a awesome tractor, mine gets delivered tomorrow.. hope that helps.. Matt

bet you are chompin at the bit waiting for it /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif.congradulation. i have the 1012 QD and skid steer QD for the bucket on my 3054 and i really like it. but the new curved loaders really look sharp. yeh i know he can give me a better price. but i will have to get a little more wrk out of my 3054 before i trade it only 185hrs on her and no problems.hope you get your tractor tomorrow have fun and be carefull /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.
