CK35 Dash lights

IT seems that half the dash lights on new CK35HST do not work. I have noticed that the 4wd and pto lights do not come on but they have spots on the dash. I looked at the pto and 4wd levers and linkages and did not see any switches or wires that I expect to see. Anyone with a newer CK35 have working 4wd and pto indicator lamps? The dash seems to be working fine other wise, the glow plug light comes on when you turn it on and the parking break light also works. The dash looks to be used across many models and was wondering if Kioti just dose not use the lights on some tractors or if I should be asking my dealer to be fixing it.

I'd call your dealer; I'm not familiar with your particular dash, but I would have to guess the 4x4 switch should light up when in use, IF your headlights are in use...can't say what the dash cluster does regarding lit bulbs, etc.

They are not supposed to-mine did/does the same---Kioti uses a generic dash thru multiple model lines.
There is nothing wrong a quick call to the dealer will confirm.

I agree. When I checked for switches etc. and found none, I assumed that the dash was used for other models, perhaps with electric engage / disengage that would need an indicator light??

A light for the 4wd engage would be handy. The diagram next to the lever is pretty hard to read (and is the opposite of the diagram in the manual - but that's another story!)

That makes sense, the manual leaves a bit to be desired as it does show the lights and their function. After looking for a the wires and switches and not seeing any I figured that either Kioti does not include them on this model or they did not get installed by the dealer. I wanted to hear from a few owners before I contacted the dealer as I do not trust any of them.

My ck35 hst dash lights up exactly as yours does Eman. Dealer told me that dash is used in several models and that some lights are not used in my model. When I told him that I think he installed the 4wd sticker upside down, he told me that the service manual is wrong. He was right.
I cant remember wether 4wd is up or down, and have a difficult time reading that 4wd icon so I made my own indicator using a couple mailbox numbers.

My 2014 ck2510hst is the same way. I'm planning down the road to find some "pinch points" in the 4x4 and pto linkages/levers and adding some momentary push button switches, wires and bulbs in the dash.

We have those lights like the 4x4 lamp on the dash (the switch lights up too). But my machine is electrical/hydraulic in nature to actuate the 4 wheel drive and the PTO so you need some kind of indicator to let you know as you don't have a lever to look at. Even the split brakes have an indicator lamp to let you know they are "split". Kioti could have hooked up those lamps on the CK series, but it would just have added cost to the machine to add the switches and wiring.

I have the same machine, same problem, called dealer on it. He said that he did not connect all the lights as they tend to short out and cause problems. As far as I can tell all the lights are supposed to function. One of my eventual projects is to rip into the dash and hook up everything without activating any useless safety switches (like the one that won't let you get off the tractor while it's in gear)

That is a unique answer. Why would a dealer NOT connect a light. The rear PTO on a CK is
mechanical--you press the clutch in, move the lever and slowly release the clutch. There is no
switch anywhere on that system--same for the FWD--no switch means no light. How long has that dealer been a Kioti dealer?

I believe kioti offers a PTO switch as a option on the CK line or least they used to.

The only thing I can think is he didn't want to engage some of the more annoying engine cutoffs that are wired into the sensors necessary for light activation. Either that or he was trying to cover up shoddy work by his workshop assistant, who knows less about the tractor than I do (he tried to tell me there is only one tranny/hydro filter). The actual owner is great, but his hired help leaves something to be desired, so maybe something happened there.
