New to us tractor. The 50 hour service was completed prior to us purchasing. We have put about 2 hours on it since we purchased. My better half used the tractor for about 45 minutes parked it and the unit sat for about a week. I went out started it up for some work and noticed a strange clicking/gear slipping noise that i hadn't noticed in prior usage when driving forward or backward. It was worse when turning. Asked the better half if he heard that sound when he used it last and he said yes. (Didn't know it wasn't a normal sound). So checked transmission/hydraulic fluid and found it to be near empty. Same with the fluid in the front axle. No obvious leaks, nothing dripping. We filled everything back up hoping that would solve the issue. No such luck. We don't see anything rubbing under the unit, don't see anything lose.... Took a video to share the noise. It sounds like its coming from the rear of the unit. What could this be? Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome.
That sounds like the pto lever is close to engaging….but not quite. Don’t drive it until you figure it out. Call the dealer if no luck and if something isn’t right, you should still have some warranty. Also you’re scaring me when you say “near empty” for transmission and front axle oil levels. What do you mean “filled everything up”? They’re not supposed to be full except up to the proper levels 🤷
Keep us posted.

I would start with making sure your gear range selector and four wheel drive levers are actually fully engaged, not partially.

Did you figure this sound out? Could it be your locked rear end partly engaged?

Since the sound only happens when driving, and is more apparent when stopping, I’d say the PTO isn’t the issue, but with the drive system. Does it have a range selector? Is it fully engaged? That sounds terrible
