Today's CL had a "spreader" on it with a pic. I recognized it as a M96 Herd Seeder. I emailed the guy who called me back and we settled on $125. price over the phone. I bought it based on his word it worked good and from the pic in the ad.

I had a short drive....and loaded it up. The sellers father passed away and he had no use for it. Looks like it's hardly been used. Not a bad price for a great seeder / spreader that sells for $600+ (and shipping). Too bad I bought a new one last year for my 4 Wheeler.

I just could not pass this by. Now I own one for my wheeler and one for my tractor.

Great find on CL foggy!!! I tell you what, since I know have two PHD's, I'll trade you the $220 Leinbach PHD I got off of CL last week for that Herd spreader!! I need one, that's next on my wish list lol. Congrat's to ya!

Not so fast!

I already have a PHD I found last year at an auction. A really nice Woods machine with two bits.

Now....if you would bait me with a good HD Rotary Cutter we could be talking trade here. (but you need to move "up north".....hard to do bidness with you rebels

Sorry, but you're not getting a HD mower in the price range we're dealing in LOL!! Perhaps I could interest you in a barely used weedeater with a brushblade?? (Spoken in my best Mr. Haney voice!!)
