Peter,

That's a great idea...except I need to push a trailer with 7 or 8,000 lbs of dirt in it over soft ground. I'm going to need something more substantial.

I should have added that I move my 18 footer around by sticking one of the teeth on my toothbar up in it and lifting with the loader. Works just fine, but could slip out!

John, I tried this, but my bucket does not curl back very far. Ideas?

I do not think puting the tooth from the bucket up in a ball hitch is a good idea. You could very easily bend the part that clamps the ball, and find out the hard way! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Just my opion...

Now a pintle ring...That would be fine.

I have one of the clamp on ones from Payne's Forks. It is heavy duty / well made. The ease of putting it on is another plus. I use it to move 5 & 6,000 lb boats around. Works like a charm.
