1969 Massey Ferguson 135, newly rebuilt gasoline engine, new paint and decals, 3-pt blade.
This a very strong utility tractor. The British Perkins AG3.152 is completely rebuilt.
Crank and flywheel were balanced, and cam was polished.
Horsepower Farms did a marvelous job of rebuilding the head. No cracks found, no welding needed.
All new valve springs, valves, locks, and lifters.
I installed the new spring-wrapped modified rear main seal that eliminates the famous MF135 rear main seal leak when using the old rope-style seal.
Compression is at factory on all three cylinders.
Original MF Red and Grey paint.
Approximately 12 hours on the rebuild.
I can’t source a sturdy enough gas tank sender that will withstand bumpy fields - after trying three different senders, and resoldering them myself, I gave up. They all failed within a hour while I was mowing. I’ll fix it one more time, but don’t expect the gas sender it to survive rough terrain.
The back end works fine - the clutch is new so needs pressure to release. PTO shifting is clean, and the hydraulic pump works well in both draft and manual. I bought a new main hydraulic pump, thinking it was bad, but turns out it wasn’t, so I didn’t replace it. I’ll include the new pump in its original shipping box as part of the package.
The rubber is very good, and the brakes are good.
I’m including a 3-point blade.
My next MF135 is awaiting its rendezvous as a winter refurb project, so this one needs to move on.
Spent more on parts and machine work that it’s worth, but that’s not the point. Get a kick seeing these old work horses start new lives.
Parked inside.
Located in Franklin, ID area, (Northern Utah/ SE Idaho) - delivery available.
