A while back, my John Deere 430 slowed down, and it turned out the air filter was dirty. I blew it out with compressed air, and the revs went back up.
Seems like it may be slowing down again, and it hasn't been long since I cleaned it.
Is it possible to keep cleaning these things, or is it best to replace them?
Of course, the filter is about $60, while a filter for my 360-HP Cummins is about half that.
