We load the coupling bolts on the flange of the generator coupling so they are ready to use when the rotor is set. If you look close in the center of the lifting beam I'm flagging the load. We use two cranes tied together and you have to control the level using 4 separate hooks. Sitting on the rotor shaft in front of me is a master level that has .0005 divisions. You have 5/8" clearance between rotor and stator. So when you lower it into place you are constantly spending up or slowing down the hooks to maintain level. You can see the lifting beam arrangement. The two smaller beams hook onto the main beam which is hooked onto the rotor. There is a lot to this operation but I've covered the basics.
