Bird. For the sealed barings that are horizontal, I have been putting a few drops of motor oil on them after I have washed the deck. I don't know if it will seep in or not. No virtical barings that get wet. Rich

Rich, I don't know either whether that will help or not. I do know that so called "sealed" bearings are not always sealed water tight. I've washed the lubricant out of sealed bearings cleaning them in Varsol, and of course, over time, they sometimes do just loose all their lubricant (usually grease of course).
