   / Cleaning a BX23 #2
I just tried that this weekend with my bx-22 so I could repair the flat front tire, but my bx-22 FEL would not lift the front of the tractor off the ground. I even tried putting concrete blocks on the ground and resting the FEL on them to give hydraulic cylinders more distance to move, but no luck. It just groaned and sat there. I ended up using a floor jack to lift the front axle. Makes me wonder if my cylinders are weak. Did you have to do anything special to get the front end off the ground?

Set your bucket on the ground and curl back like you were dumping the bucket and then it should lift the front tires off the ground. Hope this helps.

Put it in neutral also helps. I had trouble until I did that.

Ive heard more RPM will help get it off the ground.

At higher RPM the bucket should lift the front of the tractor (BX2200) with ease. Mine at full throttle is lifts the tractor so fast that it's almost a violent jerking and almost seems hard on the tractor. As far as lifting, if I come upon an unmovable object, the rear of the tractor is lifted off the ground with a 450lb ballast attached to the three point.

Just my experience.
