I used it to check my psi's, then instead of putting it in a zip-lock, I let it sit on the bench and collect dust/dirt. I need to use it now to replace the leaking one on my backhoe.

Is there anything I can soak it in, or should I just blow it with the air compressor?

Thanks.

I've sprayed mine with CRC Freeze OFF if the coupler is sticking from rust. plowking

WD40 works well for cleaning also...

I always clean my QD's with a spray can of wd-40 and the lil red straw.... it's about the only thing that stuff is good for.. that and displacing water off a distrib cap...
