For any aluminum use this product: Aluma-guard.
Rupp Marine - Aluma Guard - 16 oz spray bottle
I use it on my saltwater immersed boat and it is the stuff to use to protect anodized aluminum, and stainless etc.
Another great product is Grease-off, made by Gator Chemical Co. It is an industrial strength degreaser and it works GREAT! Spray it on and rinse it off- done.
