cleaning/maintaining 50" mower deck

Just bought a 2006 CC2550 with 90 hrs. Newest mower I ever had. I've nursed along rusty decks for years. This one was not maintained perfectly so far, still has paint most everywhere, but some grass build up and rusty spots. I'd like to start out good with this one, in hopes that it will last. I'm not going to take the deck off every week and scrub the bottom. What's the best way? Any good coatings? Ever used this CLEAN DECK - Graphite Undercoating for Lawn Mowers

I've used EZ slide graphite brush on paint on the under deck on one of my mowers. supposed to work pretty good .I believe T.S.C. sells it russ
