Cleaning vinyl siding

Old thread, I know. But I did promise to give an update on what I found to clean the vinyl siding on my place.

I found Wet & Forget to be mostly 'forget'. As far as I could tell, it did nothing. On my bad side though, I didn't want to wait a few weeks to see if it really worked or not. So for those that like it, perhaps it works for you.

Jo-Max didn't do much better, but some. Being a bit impatient, I wanted immediate results :-( Jo-Max didn't do that.

What I did find that works was Simple Green Pro; the purple stuff. That just melted mildew, dirt, grim, everything else including spider webs. I did go an extra step and added a cup of bleach and a splash of Dawn to my mix. So, for me, the best was Simple Green Pro.

For concrete areas - TSPP, trisodium Pyrophosphate worked great. You don't really see the results for that though until the concrete dries. But, it's not harmful to concrete like bleach is, and it's pretty cheap.

Thanks for the previous suggestions.
