Clearing right of ways.

The last time they came through, they knocked on my door and asked if I wanted the trees trimmed or cut down entirely.

If I would have known ahead of time the job they did hacking away my trees, I would have chosen to have them cut down! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

they came through my place this summer, when I wasn't there. saw the markers form line of sight surveying and went out marked a few small pines that are under the wires and left a note not to cut or spray them, with thoughts of getting them out to replace some the deer ate up front... (dam deer ate/rkes my trees that are up close to the house and barn but didn't touch the ones back under the wires! go figure!? anyhow they cut a good bunch of pine into fire wood!? why I wonder? and then cut some nice cherry into log lenghts which was only say10" dia, (not worth much for lumber) but then tossed thos logs over the hill into my creek to back it up! ARRRGGG... I chained & cabled the cherry up and made some good BBQ sized lenghts iwht my own saw. even used the brush as BBQ starters and or smokers for this year cooking! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif yoummy cherry wood cooks pretty dang nice... to also wacked up a few crap apples which were say 8" dia at base but I didn't do much wiht them other than pile & burn em (too craggly with sharp barbs every where.)

Not dead sure if it is contracted or not but I am dead sure the soil sterilizer they use is not something I want them to do again. That dang stuff would not let a weed grow for several years. We tilled and panted field grass so there is no reason for them to return.
