Clearing snow w/ front loader

I've really just started looking. At this point, JDs & Kubota. Any specific LS model you can point me to?

I'd start with the LS forum on here, lots of info there. I'll warn you now the LS website and dealer finder on it are not very good.
Hopefully you have a dealer near you so you can take a look. I think you will find you get more for your money.

If you were looking the BX's then you would probably be looking at the LS XJ2025.

Ok, thanks for the starting point.

LS Makes tractors for New Holland. If you are looking at the deer 1023/1025 the Boomer 24 from New Holland is similar. That is what I ended up with. Downside is no quick detach bucket. So for some that is a non-starter. For me not a big deal. I use the FEL to clear snow, but like Moss have not had a situation where I have run out of room to stack it.

This is the second year I remove snow with my Massey GC 1705, first off I haven't found a frozen snow bank it won't move. I have a back blade that I thought was going to work well for me until we got two feet of snow with lots of ice, now I find the blade to be more of a ballast than anything else. I was thinking of a 3pt blower but the areas I have to move snow (back yard for the dogs etc,) the blower wouldn't work as well as my FEL does.

This brings me to my latest purchases.. My 4ft bucket is a great digging bucket but to small for snow, firewood, mulch etc, I purchased a skid steer adapter for my DL 95 loader and a 60inch CA bucket from Travis (everything attachments) and am waiting for it to come in, This morning I purchased a quick attach folk unit and a quick attach plate for my small bucket.. The FEL works best for me, it really all depends on the area you are clearing and if you have room to stack snow..

That's not how we do it with the bucket. Push one straight path right down the middle start to finish. Once you get some snow built up in the bucket, it acts as a wedge V plow and you open up the drive for the tractor pretty quick in one pass. Turn around push down one side till the bucket starts filling, then turn in towards the right side and push it as far off to the side at a 45 degree angle as you can. Dump and back out, then do the left side. Alternate side-to side in a herring bone pattern working your way back home. You're done in two passes. Grab a donut and warm beverage.

I knew I was doing something right - you copied my method exactly  Great minds think alike :D
