I too just swaped my JD445 for a JD2210. I too wanted a loader, 3ph, and associated goodies. So far I am very happy with my new rig. One question. Is the degree of drop when you lower 3ph with the rock shaft lever controlable. In other words is there a way to rig it so that the 3ph drops to the same position each time the attachment is lowered.

Hey, bmclernon. Welcome.
Unfortunately, the position control is also absent on the 2210. Even the Cat 0 hitch on my 445 had a stop. You'll get used to it sooner or later. When using my boxblade, I find a couple of flat spots just outside the work area where I can drop the box blade to the same depth each time. I also marked the shields on my PTO shafts with a little paint so I know when the shaft and implement is at the angle/depth I want.

You prompted me to make my first post. I've been sitting on the sidelines for months soaking up all the great advice I can from this site and I'm very appreciative. Soooo..my 2210 is due in in 2 weeks. I too bought the 47" tiller, the 2 stage blower, 62"MMM and FEL and ballast box. Can't wait!! I guess I can't officially be a member of the club until the beast is delivered so will post again when "Christmas" arrives-hurry Santa!!! I've also ordered weldable grab hooks from ARDirect (as was recommended numerous times) and they should be here tomorrow-dealer has agreed to weld them on for the "right" price. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Many thanks to all who post here for all the great advice and sharing of experiences-I look forward to joining you.

Bigpete, I was thinking along the lines of welding a chain hook near the end of each draft arm. Maybe an eye at the base of the top link. THe idea is to calibrate the chain links as to limit the amount of downward travel.
I sort of remember someone disscussing such a rig on one of these boards. I was hoping somebody already had the engineering figured out.

Hope Santa's on time with it. Santa was VERY nice to me today. My dealer dropped by and delivered the FEL. SO now my tractor is complete. I just need to get it setup and I'm ready to play! Guess what I'm doin' this weekend. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
BTW, it wouldn't fit in the stocking so there's still plenty of room in there ... Surprise me Santa! /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
