Just a heads up for you geared tractor owners. I've been seeing a few tractors with the clutches seized to the input shaft splines. Mahindra has been stingy with the warranty with this issue. If you have a tractor with the clutch pedal lock use it.

I always slip a 2x4 piece about 4" in diameter, between the clutch and the floor board...I started doing this years ago due to the whine the trans made when you first start it up...its sometimes a couple of weeks between starts, so I also know about frozen clutches on other stuff....BobG in VA

On which series?

aahh....I'm guessing "geared" tractors...see OP's first line...Usually, all geared tractors probably have a clutch somewhere....(lol)...BobG in VA

They have gears on the Max series which is made in Japan along with the 1500 and 1600. The bigger machines are made in Indian, no? So is this a problem on Mitsubishi made tractors or not? I don't think "geared" tractors was considered a "series" but hey, I could be wrong.

" So is this a problem on Mitsubishi made tractors or not? "

Might well be unless U have a cab as I do.
My Mitsu lives outdoors but sports a DIY cab so I never had that problem.

The bigger Mitsu problem is tires as NOBODY makes the 9.5 X 18 R3's anymore so cover them up.

I was talking to a mechanic at the local NH dealership. He was telling me of a customer who brought in his TC33DA hydrostatic drive tractor with a problem shifting ranges.
turns out the clutch plate would not release. They had to split the tractor to separate the parts. It rusted together and it did it again 2 months later.

Only seeing it with the lower HP tractors. I have a MAX sitting in my bay now with this issue with less than 100 hrs. Seems to effect units that are not used regularly.
