Cold start problems/opportunities

No additives ever used here. Usually, in the fall I hold off buying fuel till I'm pretty sure the fuel is coming with additives already in it. Usually by early December you're guaranteed of it here in Michigan.

Same here, I have my tank filled in the late fall with the winter blend. I used to mix 60/40 #2 and kerosene before the garage had heat enough to prevent below freezing temperatures but now I go strictly with the distributor's blend (which ends up mixed with some summer blend when topping the tank).

PowerService & blended fuel, no problem last winter (mild winter with low temps above 0F).
