cold weather noise

I changed to the F200 hydro oil last fall and the difference in the lack of noise and ease of operation when cold has been great. New Holland should use that oil in anything that gets shipped north of Florida ...

Brad, do you know if the F200 fluid is synthetic or a multigrade, neither or both???

Can you run the F200 all year ??

I don't know about if the F200 oil is synthetic or not, but will see if I can determine if ... I think the big difference is that it is multi-viscosity. Hey, multi anything has GOT to be good.

And yes, the stuff can be run year round, at least in cooler climates like mine. Some where I saw a recommended temperature chart, but can't seem to put my mitts on it now. Sad thing when the brain freezes ...

F-200 is not synthetic but rated as a 5-20 wt. I use it in my TC-18 but when I hit 300 hours I'll switch to a synthetic.....not sure what brand , maybe Amsoil ! dass

Brad, I know what your saying about the brain freezing. Was up in your area.... on the other side of the hills last weekend in Conway - Fryeburg...woke up to -24F. Everything froze !!!

My wife says I can put my head in the oven to defrost my brain....will that work ???

I just scampered out to the barn and checked - both NH 134 and NH F200 oil are Dino (petroleum) products. The NH 134 is 10/30 while the NH F200 is 5/20. Makes sense to me ...

I'd be a little concerned about the head in the oven thing.
