just got home from work. temp is 3 deg wind makes it feel like -12, ain't going to get better in the next week, calling for lows in the -5 deg. range. glad it is not snowing, because as much as i love using my tractor i am not fond of sitting on it at 0 deg. damm furance just keep comming on/w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif gas co. will be thrilled./w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

A balmy -12 over here this morn'. No wind. Clear skies and lots of sun. Around 50" of snow so far this season. Sure tough on the wildlife. Deer been all thru the yard lookin for browse, wild turkeys at the bird feeders for past 2 days too.

Thomas -- Same here on my hillside, but -24 in the valley below. No wind to speak of, which makes it bearable. We're coming up on our second week of sub-zero overnight temps. Gets a little wearing after a while.

12 feet of snow so far this winter. Thank goodness it has melted down more or less between storms; we only have about 4 feet on the ground at any time.

The temerature this morning on the way to coffee @ 5:30 was showing -15 on the truck thermo. One of the guys down from Sandwich NH said he had -25

Far as the Miss's goes,after returning w/the dog for her morning out and about,the wife said"stay away from me you smell cold"..guess its the old coffee cup for warmth..oh well.

Yep, it's too darned cold here, too; 24 degrees yesterday morning and 26 this morning, but it's supposed to get back into the high 60s Monday, so I'm trying to decide whether to play golf Monday./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

It's going to get worse, Thomas. Next Tuesday and Wednesday the high is forecast to be minus 2 with lows in the minus 30 range. On the plus side, the roads have outstanding traction when it gets that cold!

It's cold even here in North Georgia - it was 8 degrees this morning! My wife starts grumbling every time the furnace kicks on. Somebody scoop this cold air up & send it back where it's supposed to be! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Hey Bird, sorry you're suffering /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif At this moment it's a balmy 85° inside my travel trailer in AZ; outside I'd say about 75° or so, in the shade. Got down to 40° last night. Of course, we pay at the summer end of the weather spectrum.
