What is means is that you are going to wear out your pumps, injectors, etc. alot faster. The older style diesel systems were designed to run on higher sulfur fuel. Higher sulfur means more lubricating abilities. Not to despair though. Just get a good supplement like power service with lubricating properties and you will make up for the low sulphur fuels. We have alot of older diesels and everything gets the power service. We haven't had the problems that other people have.
