I have talked to people that hire the illegals. you ask if they have a SS number and they rattle one off. eventually the feds come around because the number is no good. the feds may or may not raid -but they know. and the feds keep the money that was collected under that SS number. it does not go to the local tax base as far as I know.

the illegals also use a bunch of doctors time at the ER. how much do they pay do you recon?

and where do you think they got the license plate on their car. they for sure don't go and buy one. they go to the wally world parking lot.

Uhhh... I must have worded something in a way that made it easy to misread. Not sure what it was. What did I say that gave you the impression I was not law abiding? IOW what exactly would you turn me in for, should we run up against each other?

Fortunately I知 not in the position to make that decision but Mexicans that are out working are workers. There痴 plenty of bad ones just like any other group but this group is hungry in my experience. I would like to see the ones that are contributing members of society be allowed to take the road to citizenship if they choose as long as they are worthy.

Well it violates sound business practices to hire 'non working' workers.

They made it legal but other wise there would be little tobacco grown in KY if non USA citizens were not willing to work in that industry.

You know what blows my mind? These illegals come over here and have a ton of challenges to overcome. Just think of all they have to go through to get here and yet they find work and do it. At the same time we have tons of citizens here who are unemployed and say they can’t find jobs.

Illegal immigration is a huge problem and I am not in favor of it but they seem to be filling jobs that no one else wants to do and contrary to popular belief I think most of them do a good job. For example I have hired a lot of concrete work done at my place over the years. I always deal with legitimate businesses but most of them seem to have what I would assume are illegals working for them. They have always done great work. I have had two concrete jobs done where I was not pleased with the outcome and those two were done by non Mexican crews.

100% correct. Roofing companies are paying $15 / hour and illegals are generally the only people willing to do the work. Other groups of people are at home watching YouTube on their government provided cell phone and collecting welfare checks.

I'll take someone who wants to improve their families life and has the initiative to make it happen any day over someone who just sits on their *** collecting my tax money.
