Buying Advice Comments on a Kubota L 3901 with an LA 525 loader

Sounds like you actually have a larger bucket for the Max -- my neighbor's is smaller than that. My old B2920 had a 50" bucket, and his Max bucket is smaller yet. Based on what I have read here and seen, I think the Max's came equipped with a variety of loader buckets and tire sizes. Don't know if those were dealer options or just run of the mill. My neighbor is extremely, shall we say, value conscious, so he probably wouldn't have opted for bigger tires or bucket if they were options.

Go Figure. That Mahindra would introduce the Max28 with a 48" bucket on a tractor that has a 54" width and the strongest "Small Compact" loader spec leads one to believe that Mahindra has product planners that do not know too much about little tractors and their use.

I bought my new max as a 2103 leftover, and made sure it came equipped with the updated bucket. I use SolidWorks to calculate bucket capacity.
PS I'm thrifty also.
