If you can get everything running and if the door does not have to be secure then you could get some rubber belting 2 wide and bolt it to the bottom of the door slats. It would keep out the weather and still let tall stuff to pass thru. At least till you are able to find some used slats.:2cents:

Only has to be secure enough to keep cows in/out.:laughing:

Thanks for the offer. I'm sure I'll be looking for that assistance at some point as I'll need to be getting a switch and other parts which should be pretty universal. One step at a time though.
