I am curious how long a 48 in commerical walk behind mower rear tires will last.

I have a similar sized machine, that makes similar turns. I would like to foam the tires, but I would like the Carisles to last a while.

I usually get around 3000 hours before they are bald. Always get 4ply

It mostly depends on operator and numerous other variables. Whether you are 3-point turning or doing a zero turn and scrubbing tires. Large yards with long runs between turns, or small yards where you are making a 180 degree turn ever 50' pass. how much pavement or sidewalks? I service a dozen or so mowers for a local landscaper, and about 1000hrs per set is the norm for them.

Thanks guys! I have plenty of 150 ft strait runs, but I also have a few obstacles.

i loaded both ft & rear tires on my 36" zero walk behind...the loaded front gives some ballast with tight turn arounds on slopes, less likely for ft end to rear up
